(IMP)
Complete technical inspection combined with preventive in-situ intervention, aimed at preserving blade structural integrity.
Our IMP service combines complete technical inspection with preventive in-situ interventions, aimed at preserving blade structural integrity and preventing minor damage from progressing into major failures.
Unlike a conventional inspection, the IMP does not limit itself to documenting blade condition. We immediately act on surface defects to stabilize them and reduce the risk of propagation.
During inspection, surface damage is immediately stabilized through:
Controlled sanding of spalling and superficial cracks
Sealing and protective repainting
Temporary protection on eroded leading edge areas
This procedure reduces moisture ingress, minimizes crack propagation, and extends service life until the next corrective campaign.
When defects requiring intermediate or structural intervention are detected, the client is informed with a specific technical proposal.
Examples of complementary work
Reduce damage growth, optimize maintenance budget, and maintain turbine availability without the need for urgent corrective campaigns.
